Buried Deep Poem by Jeremiah Crane

Buried Deep

I stop amid trees
On this dark lonely night
Get down on my knees
To begin the fight
The fight against time
And the break of the day
To bury my crime
In this hole it shall lay
And cover it well
See everything’s fine
So no one can tell
The hurt remains mine
