Buried Desires Poem by Shivam Singh

Buried Desires

We know, we know, that we can smile!
Even at worse, whether torn from inside,
We can hide thousand faces for the jest,
But only we know, our eyes says the rest.

Whether, we pretend to be skilled in so,
Light words can't heal torn walls of soul,
You can swim in stream but not with flow,
Burning desires broke the wall with blow.

Even love is too weak to express so,
You can't hide the burning tears of smile,
It can break and shake in many cases,
Whether you try with thousand faces.

Alas! We are merely players in the hands
Of destiny,
Loitering among the living and powerless,
We merely play the part designed for,
Born with one but have to gather many.
