Burning Flame - Poem by Sarah Pesta

As I walk along a path
I find my thoughts telling me to wait

Two more paths are in my way
My heart is telling me to listen

I listen as my heart repeats my memories
Which only makes the choice harder

My path was chosen by me alone
Even though my heart did help

This time, my heart is taking its time
Can my memories help me decide?

Even I can't decide which path to follow
I have chosen a path that had the glowing candle
