But I'M In Hell Poem by Jason Pack

But I'M In Hell

You don't care,
You don't cry,
I wouldn't dare,
To pass you by.

You don't speak,
You don't listen,
My voice is meek,
When your eyes glisten.

You don't walk,
You float off the dirt,
I only gawk,
And hopelessly flirt.

Here is my thought,
Here is my plague,
Will it just rot?
Will it remain vague?

Why won't you stop?
Why won't you stay?
What must I drop?
What must I say?

That I love you?
That's not it,
That's not true,
That doesn't hit.

I adore you,
I respect you,
I protect you,
I can't ignore you.

You ignore me,
You resent me,
You blind me,
You deafen me.

But I won't despair,
I won't forget,
And you won't care,
You won't see it.

That's fine for today,
It's just as well,
This may be cliche,
But i'm in hell.
