You are the bread and the knife,
The crystyle goblet and the wine
~Jacques Crickillon
You are the bread and the knife,
The crystyle goblet and the wine
You are the creamer in coffee
And the mayonaize on the bread
You are the pedal on a red rose
And the lead in a colored pencil
How ever you are not the lines on paper
The flowers in Spring
Or the wind in my hair
And you are certainly not the flame on a butterscotch candel
There is just no way you are the flame on a butterscotch candel
It is posible that you are the chees in Mac N Cheese
Maybe even the sand on a beach
But you are not even close
To being the fizz in soda
And a quick look in a mirror will show
That you are not the spider on the wall
Or the frog on a log
It Might be a good for you to know
Speaking of the plentiful world of imagery
That I am the cherry in a chocolate
I also happen to be the perfume in the bottle
The paint on a wall
An the page in a book
I am also the white in peper
And a blanket that keeps you warm
But don't be alarmed, I am not the bread and the knife
You are still the bread and the knife
You will always be the bread and the knife,
And not to mistake the crystyle goblet and -somehow- the wine
