You promised me when I was young,
That you would be my Friend.
You promised me when I was young,
That you would keep me safe and sound.

What did I do to deserve your rage?
What did I do to deserve your stone cold heart?
Did I not show any love?
Or was my love to little for your heart?

I am going insane,
I do not know if I should fight for this long any more.
I am going insane,
And I do not have the stamina to fight you any longer.

What am I supposed to do?
What am I supposed to say?
Is this how my life will end?
Am I just a caged Bird?

You are treating me as if I am nothing,
A nobody in this world.

What if I just walk away?
Would you let me go?
What if I just slit this heart open?
Would you still care?
