The caged bird sings into the night
Her voice echoes, oh what a sight
Trapped behind bars, she longs to be free
But still, she sings with such pure glee
The moon shines down, a soft silver glow
As the bird's sweet melodies flow
She sings of love, of hope and pain
Her heart's desires, she cannot restrain
Each note she sings, a message of hope
A captive soul, yet still she copes
With every breath, she cries out loud
Her voice soars, breaking through the clouds
The caged bird sings into the night
Her wings may be clipped, but her spirit takes flight
She yearns to soar above the trees
To feel the wind, to feel the breeze
But for now, she remains in her cage
A prisoner, a forgotten sage
Yet her song rings out, a symphony
Her heart and soul, set free
The night sky, her only audience
As she sings with such resilience
Her wings may be bound, but her spirit flies
As she sings her truths, her soul unties
The caged bird sings into the night
Her voice a beacon, shining bright
She sings of beauty, she sings of pain
Her song a mantra, a calming refrain
And though her cage may seem a curse
Her voice, her spirit, they cannot be coerced
