California Poem by Alexander Foald

California

This is the beginning
This could be the starting point
From where I put my dreams in
To where I stop this fueled machine

Clock, as it's always ticking
Waiting for my signal to bet
On my future, my fateful thing
Button the crane of my fullest

Thanks for your constellation
For burning up my decision
To thought that I would be here
It was the hardest saying I ever promised

So here I am, baggy and messy
Drive my car through the southern California
Leave the heat behind my seat back
Set up my schedule for one last show

I'm screaming, I'm dreaming
Leaving all this after everything
Heading to somewhere I belong
This could take a long hard driving
