Call Out To God - Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Call out to God in faithful song
Call out to God in praise
Let’s cry to God when something’s wrong
Loving Him all our days

God loves it when His face we seek
He loves it when we pray
The humble hearted spirit meek
Walking His chosen way

Call out to God with hands held high
Extol The Lord above
Cry out to Lamb who chose to die
And raise our lives in love

For prayer tears down the strongest wall
Lays open gates and doors
Can bring the devil swift to fall
And close demonic jaws

Call out to God sweet gratitude
Call out along The Way
For health for wealth life’s clothes and food
And keeping safe each day

There’s no one else to rescue
No other God can save
No other Lord can bring new birth
Escaping death and grave

Call out to God for all He’s done
For all the things to be
The wonder of His Christ and Son
That sets His children free

Let all creation dance and sing
Call out a loud hooray
Let all creation blessings bring
Forever and a day
