Calming Rain Poem by mohammad ahmadizadeh

Calming Rain

Rating: 3.5

Do you remember that rainy day?
You and I were walking in a way
not caring for getting wet in the rain
our hands were tied as a tight chain

We took our inner children out to play
sitting them on braided hands to sway
We lost in the wet rhythm of raindrops
finding bona fides inside clasping palms

We forgot where we were in our rainy way
lightening timeless instant by the joined hands' ray
mesmerizing by the bewitchment of moment
getting ride of desires and memories' torment

In fact you were the rain cloud in the sky
I rained from thy amour settled in the high
We drenched our shades by drops of the charms
walking to join us, sleeping in the sun's arms
