Can'T They See? Poem by Olivia Anne

Can'T They See?

Can’t they see what they are doing to themselves?
Can’t they see what they are turning into?

Can’t they see that it’s causing more pain?
And can’t they see there life is going down the drain

This is a life we should save
Instead of making a grave

Not a statement But a fact
That this should never be the answer
To any problem in your life

Not a tip of a knife
Or a cigar
Or drugs

Don’t they get?
That they could be so much more than this
That if they proceed
It could be the end

I’m saying this as a friend
Stop now and turn your life around
Instead of falling to the ground

Please
Can’t you see?
Its not just hurting you, but it’s also
Hurting me
