Capeche? Poem by Lazarus Knix

Capeche?

Come diving for treasure in
A sea of sagacity-
An ocean of poetry-
So gingerly…we’ll descend
Past the commonalities
Of superficial men-
And swim within philosophy

Senses start to disappear-
They’ll be talk of trees falling
And if they make a calling
When no one is around to hear
Sharks? They’ll do their gnawing
Yet no man will be aware-
Past anything but arguing

It’s easy to find deepness in deep
Yet difficult in shallower things
Capeche?
