Carlos Poem by Maya Trowborst

Carlos

Black curls cover his head
His pale skin, white as snow
To many he looks scary and dead
but little do they know

That man is a fire!
A burning bright blaze of curiosity!
A man of very little desire
And an ocean of generosity!

A pure genius, a master of the art!
The days he casts away helping amazes!
And it warms the heart,
As his own heart burns and blazes!

He is truly remarkable!
One of a kind!
For no amount of hate is capable
Of harming a soul of this kind!
