Cascading Water Poem by Lissette J. Garcia

Cascading Water

Cascading water pristine in blue,
rid me from stains the days produce.

With swiftness quench my torrid throat.
Heal, splashing wounds this body totes.

Disguise these tears that drench my face.
Soothe aching muscles,
my strength replace.

Defuse the worries that cloud my mind.
Spiritual spray refreshes
souls, divine.

Reviving energy
pours from the spout;
Welcoming comforting
its warmth, its sound.

Once you're well done
with all my requests,
cleanse dreadful dreams,
so I may rest.
