Cast Out Poem by Cindy Wyatt

Cast Out

Cast out the scorner and contention will cease
the air will feel fresher and your joy increase
The dark gloomy atmosphere will turn to bright light
causing you to look up and have eternity in sight

Cast out the troublemaker who wants only to cause strife
speaking mean words that cut in a heart like a knife
Center your mind on the Word of God so rich and pure
that will uplift your spirit and keep you grounded and secure

Cast out the scoffer and mocker who does not believe
and open out your hands wide for many blessings to receive
The love of Jesus will shine and glow on your face
while your heart is rejoicing you are saved by grace

Psalm 1: 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Proverbs 22: 10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out: yea, strife and reproach shall cease.
