Caught In A Whirlpool Poem by Louise Tredoux

Caught In A Whirlpool

Feeling like one caught in
a whirlpool or time warp,
feeling sick and ill at ease,
waiting for release, waiting
for the pain to subside,
waiting for death to claim
its prize; what other goal
is there in life - other than
death?
