Caught In The Middle Poem by Nitin Suresh

Caught In The Middle

Life marked by resonating dreams
of unclinched hopes and soulless targets
Drawn into oblivion as drudgery creeps
withdrawing slowly ever of final failed picture

Child youth and homebound man
stages never had an interval
a seamless flow just to make the next
more fruitful and meaning to add

As stage slipped by and so did
the unlinched hopes and soulless targets
Parched arid minds and tiring body
Withdrawing just to become a face in the crowd

Nice one, Mr Suresh... Your representation of twillight thoughts is shocking in its compelling starkness. I like how you repeated the phrase 'As stage slipped by and so did the unlinched hopes and soulless targets...' And the trailing end also '... just to become a face in the crowd ' Indeed soulful, sir- sombre and solemn Do keep writing! ! Love Me
