Chances Are Poem by Briana Johnson

Chances Are

Chances are...
I won't be rich and famous
Or an icon of some sort
Rule the 7 seas
Or a famous ski resort
Marry my favorite singer
To lavish me with gifts
Live my life adventurous
With many cool uplifts
But I know there is a chance
I'll end up like my Mother
Strong, loving, calm, kind
Unlike any other

Briana, what a beautiful tribute to your mom. I know she must be special to you. I love the flow and the rhyming scheme you have incorporated into this poem. Great job and keep up the good work. Your friend in poetry, Lynn.
