I was never the flirty type,
I never really blushed,
Or dreamed,
Until you came along.
And now,
My heart gives a flutter
When I see you.
Oh, the butterflies that I get
When you touch me.
You have me writing love poems
That I'll never show you.
You have me drawing hearts
All over my homework.
Our initials,
They look good together.
My heart is lonely without you.
Could I have your heart?
I promise I'll take care of it,
And I'll give you mine in return.
I think that's a fair trade;
But could you just
Make sure to handle mines
With care?
It's a fragile thing,
And once you lose it,
You don't get it back;
But I don't think
You or I have to worry
About that.
Let me just say:
I'm falling for you hard.
Could you catch me at the bottom,

Just walk with me through life?
I just want you forever.
