In the first few weeks we had some trouble
But now each day all we seem to do is cuddle.
There was some trust issues between us too
Which I understood as you knew
A lot of details about my past and my lying.
This issue did cause me to do a little bit of crying
But I felt more for you than me
Because I didn’t want to hurt you which is all I could see.
Worried I was going to lose you before we had even begun
Luckily now though we have loads of fun.

Fresh start now and look how we are
Just hope we go far.
In my mind I am full of delight
And waking up to you each morning would be the perfect sight!
Will we last I don’t know but I hope we do
Because you’ve made me change into someone better, someone new!
