Cherishing This Life Poem by Marqese Dabbs

Cherishing This Life

Going through this cycle of life
I remember the words we've spoken
As pure as the winter white
A wonder of a sight
She takes away my greatest pains
A league of change
Her breath of warmth rhythm upon my beating heart
Colors of geniality we've seen from each other
The prelude resides within are veins
This bed is where are sanguine lies, the glaze in are eyes
She melts the icicles of my being, giving moments of reverence
We can make the lifeline ignite
The embers crackle to its own song
This garden of euphoria growing, covering are world
The winds will flow unveiling the veiled
An abstraction we've created, evolving what's been shrouded
Gathering the pigment that was on a pale mind
Lacing the void of anti-matter
Are tapestry clasped in undying love
Embodied In the counting hours
Cherishing this life
