Children Poem by Dr. Mary Annie A.V

Children

I like you barefoot:
Your crooked little toes
running out of shape
never fitting the shoes.
I like you barefoot
as you dance around
on toes that lift up
pointed on the ground.
I like you barefoot
noiselessly, padding around,
making me jump up in fright
and laugh at one go.
I love you barefoot
upon the big wide bed
pink toes peeking invitingly,
from the cute night dress:)))
