Chipped - Poem by Reginald Goodridge

Chipped
breaking away from it all
all that smothering attention
all that preeminent focus
all that you that was in me

Chipped
pealing back the comments
comments about love
comments about wanting to be
comments about clarity in we

Chipped
ready to move away
away from those lovely thoughts
away from my sweetly placed words
away from our timeless times together

...Chipped
