Chocolate Poem by Meena Iyer

Chocolate

The cadence of your eyes,
Gently reminds me,
Of my earlier resolve,

Lost in the sensation
Allured by the sugary delight
I crumble...

And when your brows curve,
Humbly I let go,
With a sheepish smile

Then the curve of your lips,
Bright with mischief
Gobble it up!
