Chocolate Sunrise (Revised) Part One Poem by Cheryl Butler

Chocolate Sunrise (Revised) Part One

The sun
Tears
From
Dark
Night
Day

As
You
Release
Your
First
Light
Breath

Me too
In and out
Wanting
To be
In sync with you
I love you

The
Orange
Red colors
Kiss your
Silhouette
Cascade
Down
Your body

Like
Flowing
Streams

Chocolate

Your
Nigerian skin
Has me so
Into you

Groovy

Your full red lips
So tantalizing
To bite

It taste
Like
I'm eating
A peach

You know
Like
A good kiss
That you slob a
Little bit
Yea succulent

You breathe
Again

This time
Slower
Me too

You
Up and down
Me in
And
Out

The sky
Starts
To
Turn
Blue

You
Too
With
A stretch
Yawn
And
Turn

Your
eyes
Open

Alas
To
Another lover

And I have
Awoken to me
