Christ knew the day and time He’d die
For most would be in vain
Yet for a few He felt to cry
And suffer so much pain
He knew the wickedness of man
The Pharisees of old
Yet holding true to Heaven’s plan
He stood His station bold
He knew the rich the sick the poor
Masses failing the test
That few alone would truth endure
And find eternal rest
He knew the young the old and grey
The lepers and the blind
Still but a few He knew would stay
And have a change of mind
Today as then when walked God’s Son
Amongst The Father’s sheep
Remains but few of which I’m one
Will eat until we sleep
For Christ knew well until He died
Until again He’d rise
Life’s Seed would be but multiplied
In those with open eyes
So why not join The Living Christ
Accept God’s Word as Light
Believe that He was sacrificed
And help to fight the fight
Believe in Christ the war is won
As one, walk Jesus’ trail
Knowing until God’s will is done
Not one of His will fail
