Christians & The World Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Christians & The World

When God to you was still unknown
Christ's church, was not for you
Without Jesus, you walked alone
Where death, had you in view

So is the world, her people, still
Ignorant, Unaware, what's ahead
Unaware, devils seek to kill
All deaf, blind walking dead

But blessed are you, my friend and me
Christ Jesus set apart
Living, walking to victory
Having a brand new start

Receiving wisdom, knowledge too
Knowing Heaven's powers
For more to see, more learn to know
Responsibility's ours

Why else would God, one moment from death
From hell not set us free
Would save ones soul, give Holy Breath
Eternally to be

How many would tell then others
Through this wicked world would go
But friends, moms, dads, sisters, brothers
Life's living Truth should know

Heaven knows all living, dying
Each heart, each soul of man
The few who faithful live trying
To keep Salvation's plan

Here living, striving, speaking
Countless things we pursue
With or without Jesus seeking
Where will forever be you? ? ? .....
