Christmas Gifts Poem by Liz Eckel

Who said christmas was about presents and gifts,
when it comes to the twenty-fifth?

Its about giving to others and joy and laughter,
and making another and another happy ever after.

Christmas is also to celebrate Christ the King,
He who came to bring us peace one day.
But then we blew it and turned the world to grey.
Its his birthday, dont forget to pray!

And so this is why we celebrate on Christmas day,
giving and sharing with our friends as we laugh and play.

So don't be sad this holiday,
get with the spirit cause I know mine is here to stay!
