Christmas Glow Poem by Richard Murray

Christmas Glow

Just before Christmas gentle snow falls from the wintery sky,
The first covering, all aglow, beautiful to every eye.
Each snowflake a pattern unique, amazing by design,
Silently descending, miraculous, sublime.
Advent of The Son of God is more amazing still,
Christ left heaven's splendor to do The Father's will.
Pure, sinless Lamb of God, whiter than the snow,
Light of heaven descending,
The first Christmas glow.
