Cliche Love Poem Poem by Lucas Akkadian

Cliche Love Poem

These nights are cold
and the days are a haze
As seconds drift by
like exhales of the sleeping

I've slain all the dogs at my door
and won the price of silence
but the walls still breath a soft cadence
to carry me off into limbo

Since I've been alone
You're just another ghost in my house.
