Clock Face Poem by SamM Wild

Clock Face

Like a clock face telling the wrong time,
It can't be denied you're on my mind.
From the darkness of the midnight shadow,
You light me this path with no where to go.
Searching for a light inside of my heart,
It's all black I don't know where to start.
I'm swallowed up by an ocean of jealousy,
Can't look them in the eye cos I will see,
The power of dreams and self belief,
A podium placing strong from the weak.

You visit me In my sleep, in my dreams,
waking up to reality is not what it seems.
I'm striving to hold your hand,
Times ticking and I ain't got a plan.
You said you wanted to kinect with me,
Deeper than ever, I'm masked to what I see.
Another female captivating my entire mind,
Like a dead clock face telling the wrong time,
I want you back more than ever because you're my lady,
I wish I could tell you all of this Stacee.
