Coffee To An Angel Poem by Rayniece D. Clayborne

Coffee To An Angel

The sun is the symbol.
The rain is the symbol of purity.
The rainbow symbolizes hope.
My Godmother comes to mind.
I remember her with much kindness.
She deemed me Peachcake.
Heaven was waiting for her.
she had to meet me first.
She never judged.. just loved.
I met her when i was homeless.
I was flipping burgers.
She came in for coffee.
I had just finished praying.
She was a mahogany brown.
I loved her low cut bush.
Litterally I worked in a rat hole.
I had another memory.
I felt safe...The rat hole was li'l tavern.
The stove drew them out.
We had traps set.
Yes this was my confirmation.
Gd sent her to me..two big rats were caught!
That lady stayed with me.. took me home.
