Coil Poem by Lazarus Knix

Coil

Rating: 5.0

Ways away from here
My dreams chase their tails in a
Theater of black.

One is desire
(A sluggish wisp) named after
Father’s shortcomings

-The other, hatred
(One swifter) has genesis
In the same dark womb.

They catch each other
And coil about themselves
Yet never change course.
