Coloured Grief Poem by Hanan Muzafar

Coloured Grief

Blur roadways,
and connected loops,
A journey to seek:
Alternate phases,
things taking a repeat.

The emptiness,
And coloured grief;
Paper bits drifting in wind,
Whispering jazz to breeze.

Understanding without saying,
kindness and generosity,
Expressive smiles,
on fragile souls.

Ropes tied with knots,
calm sunshine,
thrust and drive:
The warmth in need.

Back to you again,
without you,
lost and free:
How I feel,
Always be with me.
