Common Man And Swiss Bank - Poem by Puttu Kulkarni

Common Man and Swiss Bank

Our hopes are hibernated while sleeping
Souls are locked with secret code-words
Preserved body in the velvet-cloth to shine
Cover of web-fog puts the scanning board

Treasure of bread -butter always in deep well
Broken pulley to Torned rope for cracked pot
Cock-tail with crows and owls in closed session
Blessed to levitate from "learned troop"

Fragrance of pure ghee on top of the nose
Hook is sanctioned to hold the Moon
Paradoxical images of unity in broken mirror
Poor dreams never permit to sleep in peace

Sweating of labor children pouring on dust
Sinner hid the earning for the unknown
Darkness in the womb while light on face
Flames put the plinth to count the skeleton
