Complicated Simplicity Poem by Tim Holmes Jr

Complicated Simplicity

Rating: 5.0

The hardest thing to learn is the beat of your own heart,
But how could you ever orchestrate a symphony learn music from the start.
It's a life long lesson you have to learn pain and who you are,
You'll never learn to love anyone unless you find your own star.
See once you hurt you'll never want another to feel this sorrow,
You will wake up everyday to make them have a better tomorrow.
The bond of a friendship has to take place,
A firm foundation forged with consistency you have time this is no race.
Then layer with truth, trust now matter how bad you believe,
It will be accepted you shall get that in return they won't leave.
Intimacy interestingly enough does not only mean sex, it gets deeper,
Like opening up your soul exposing our spirit to another makes you a keeper.
Weaknesses exposed flaws out on the table no more cards to hold,
Forgiveness and understanding now true love can now unfold.
