Conformer Poem by Imogene Wagner

Conformer

Around my wrist I wear a watch
Upon my body clothes,
I always wear a hat to church
And sport no shiny nose;
I bind shoes on my mortal feet,
My feelings are disguised,
And for these neat conforming acts
They call me civilized.
