Confused Poem by Ragia Sayed

Confused

I'm confused about you,
Confused about us,
Sometimes i feel happy,
Other times i feel blue.
Confused about what you said,
Confused about what you did,
Don't know if any of this was true.

Is it me who was dreaming? ,
Or none of this was real,
Have you ever wondered? ,
How i really feel? .

My heart wants to believe you,
But my mind knows that you are lying,
I'm in a war with my own self,
But i keep on trying.

Do you have any kind of prove? ,
Did you even make a move? .

Why should i believe you? ,
Why should i trust you? ,
There are so many questions,
You have their answers,
But sometimes i feel that you are not saying the truth,
Now i'm confused, don't know what to do.

I don't know how this story is going to end,
Maybe i'll know if you stop to pretend.

Dear Ragia! My name is Erik Gero I am a composer living in Canada. Your lovely playful poem the Ten Red Roses inspired me to write some sublime music. It is part of my Three Madrigals for Choir Flutes and Percussion. The Avanti Singers, chamber choir of Brock University St.Catharines Ontario, would like to premiere this work and I need your permission for the performance. I am not being paid for this occasion, however in the case of publication, you will have your share of the income. Please be so kind respond to my request. Here is my email address: erikgeroniagara@gmail.com Warmest regards and thanks Erik
