Constitution, The Lawyers Brothel Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

Constitution, The Lawyers Brothel

The Constitution is a prostitute
Whoever has money that day gets a date
It's called the best lawyer policy
Ever conveyed a message to your honour using a government lawyer
It's like lost cause
Ain't no coming back!
Incarceration here you go
The culture of a broken society
He also needs a couture dressing style
Yet with the peanuts he is given he acts like a rat
Scavenging into the wrong pockets
Getting cornered for life
Till he dies
Or worst still
Till he goes to a place where he sends others
It's a 2 way train
This prostitute ain't loyal
Remember?
A slave to the constitution
The educated tool for corruption
