Corruption Poem by Restytuta Nalyazi

Corruption

Rating: 5.0

Corruption
The unwritten curriculum
Of my country
That flows from top to bottom
In all national development sectors
A disease incurable politically
Religiously infectious
Culturally destructive
Economically erosive
Predominantly a cry on every mouth
Of opportunistic political pests
Of our times at any cost
Does it pay to listen?

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
it is about cause of underdevelopment in my country Uganda. The social set of the key sections that can promote and contribute to development have not played their part but instead contribute to failing it.
