Crazy Smile - Poem by Sumita Datta

We come from miles away to see you,
For us it is our dream come true….
We feel content after taking a snap with you
We try our best to smile like you….

In this world, you are the most passionate lady
Your simple smile makes the whole world crazy….
Your smile is simple, honest and bright
You are attracting people day and night…

Today, the whole world smiles with you
But, I feel scared to think
What will happen if you cry?
Will you get anybody beside you?

    Yes Sumita,

The whole poem can easily be correlated with that famous painting 'Monalisa' by Vinci. But people, as you've never mentioned who is that 'You', made many meanings from this poem and they are also correct - someone said it's celebrity who are alone.

Now tell me did you really mean it?

Nice poem. Who will be there when you will cry?

    Keep going,
    Gautam Da.

may be a few...but let's hope nobody would smile when she cries...good meaningful write...people love to share only good things, Sumita...10 (Report)Reply

This reminds me of the saying, 'rich people have lots of friends, but they won't always stick around when you're poor'

It's so easy to smile with someone, but harderto share their sorrows!
    nice poem...
