Crucifixion - Poem by sisirachandra vaduge
Sole anticipation was to build a small nest
Toil and earn some from their asset
Love for family, children and others considering next
Age, physiche, health and other strengths are ignored as they are
Scorching deserts of a prosperous country
Unbiassed by human labour and liability
Enslaving mothers of that gravity
Is another severe menace of this money hunting society...
The failure was unable to perform house hold cores
However she agreed to comply with all that
Concealing severe pains of embedded nails of that hot
Not revealed to others feeling as their hearts too may pain in the midst
Mother Srilanka embraced her compassionately in her return
The surgery was somewhat similar to cesarean
Is another wonder of ardorous medications
To prevent the death of that crucifixion
Compensation would be the next consolation
Is that all what they can?
Building a nest of her own was the only reason
In this land, where she is born and bred with her kith and kin.
Plot: Feature article “nailed” of “Sunday Observer” Srilankan weekend
news paper dated 29th August 2010.
Ps. * [to remove 23 nails from her body]
