Cruel Courage Poem by Satish Verma

Cruel Courage

The black moon.
Two labial eyes to bring down
the sun to grind the inferno.

A golden bath now
cleaves the heart, pummels the
nerves. Here man feels spiritual.

Water in orgy, envelops
the body to burn the pyres on the
river. I will give a call to the god in every corner.
