Damn, I was thirsty when I met him.
Dry, desert storm,
Meets the perfect thunderstorm.
One lightning bolt
Shocked me into believing
This one's meant to be.
We had no T.V.
Just he and I
Riding along the highway
Looking for a place
To call home, together.
The car became our home,
Romance had to wait,
In stormy weather.
We'd arrive home
At the base,
On weekends,
Life on the road,
Takes its toll
But I wouldn't have traded it
All, for anything.
We'd curl together,
Man we were tired
But we were searching
For the same damned thing.
Bodies wear; seem to
Stop you in its tracks
Of what your mind doesn't know.
For those of you
Who still don't understand,
Man, I wish I was
One of you.
But It ain't the roads
That we've travelled
That's gonna put our hearts
At peace.
Humans are humans,
We'll die trying,
Until we are deceased.
Cry Human.
Send tears of joy
Then your
Resounding lullibye.
Cry Human.
Just save me through tonight.
Touch me til I feel alright.
Just cry human.
Just sigh, human.
I still don't understand.
