Culture Shock Poem by Darrick wiggins

Culture Shock

I lost myself in a unknown source;
mistaking being unidentified, and
deprived;
so what I supposed to do?
do I have to initiate my true
Identity by force;
no that wouldn't be necessary,
I'm holding in too much pride;
or some matters, do I have to
fit into the cool;
like a innocent, torned animal
programed;
to be obedient toward it's
majestic master;
ohh! ! ! no I want that ba-dook-
it-dook sound;
if it's not tuned in, here's come
the disaster;
among the mixed sources, I'm
confused;
I see, I listen, and watched;
the atmosphere being abused;
by the ambitious plaques ploted;
can we all get along?
to strive for us to be humble;
as the peace and love of my heart
are so strong, which the rocks of my
soul stumbles.
