Curfew hour, the clock strikes eight
As the sun sets, the world awaits
The streets grow still, the air turns cold
Silence seeps in, as the night takes hold
Curfew hour, a time of peace
A break from chaos, a moment to seize
All is quiet, all is still
As the city sleeps, and the winds turn chill
Curfew hour, a time to reflect
On the day gone by, on all that's left
Memories linger, thoughts run deep
A chance to rest, a chance to sleep
Curfew hour, a time to be safe
Behind locked doors, in a sheltered space
No need to fear, no need to roam
For curfew hour is a place called home
Curfew hour, a time to dream
Of endless possibilities, of what could seem
A world so different, beyond the night
A world of magic, a world of light
Curfew hour, a time to listen
To the whispers of the night, as they glisten
In the moon's soft glow, in the stars above
A symphony of peace, a song of love
Curfew hour, a time to be free
From the hustle and bustle, from the rush and flee
A moment of stillness, a moment to breathe
A moment to forget, all that we leave
Curfew hour, a time to be alone
To find ourselves, in this quiet zone
No distractions, no one to please
Just a moment of solitude, to find inner peace
Curfew hour, a time to create
For the artist, the writer, the poet to contemplate
In the silence of the night, in its calming embrace
Ideas flow freely, in this sacred space
Curfew hour, a time of transition
From the chaos of day, to the calm of night's mission
As we bid farewell, to all that's been
And welcome the stillness, within
Curfew hour, a time to say goodbye
To the day that's passed, to the tears we've cried
For tomorrow awaits, with a brand new dawn
With endless possibilities, to carry on
Curfew hour, the clock strikes twelve
The night is over, the world will delve
Into a new day, with new promises to keep
But for now, we rest, in curfew hour's sleep.
