Cursed Fate Poem by Janara Matugas

Cursed Fate

I never wanted
To be in my worst state
My heart is buried
In the mud of my cursed fate

Is this my punishment from God?
For making my own foul path?
For doing something wrong
Without feeling wronged?

I entered the darkest room
I can't see, I'm all alone
I can't find the only door
Of contentment and joy

Should I just end my life?
No, I must survive
To change my wrongs into right
To see the light, to see the light
