'Cut Away And Let's Go' Poem by Kevin Wang

'Cut Away And Let's Go'

Man, how can you anger me like this
'til i'm too sad
too tired to whisper a word
looks of disappointment so much like discouragement
like a chocolate factory shut down before Charlie's eyes

this anchor rope
weighing me down keeping me for rising
worries sorries all revolving this bubble
plz why don't you just send me to boot camp
not like I would survive

just tell my mother and father
this isn't working anymore
these days falling off tune
feeling stumped and don't even feel like drawing

hey this must be a nursery rhyme that gone wrong
seeing tears of sorrow
man can't you see
i'm dying here too

just send me away
if it breaks your heart caring me like so
send me up, down, left, or right
just into shape with that crunch of freshness

this boy ain't get any younger
let it go even if it breaks like so
take a glance out thtat window
and let me find my Holy Grail
and damsel in distress
I may be no knight in shining armor
or that perfect child you wanted
but I just want to have some fun
and bite a bullet
and go off live like my last day
