Daffodills Poem by Minnie Gehrig

Daffodills

Rating: 3.5

i am wild today,
see how the daffodills lift there heads towards the sun,
i am like them,
i soak in dragons blood,
i relax into the hot springs,
of my porceline sanctuary,

i wear my hair big today,
it fans out from my face,
pantomimes the lioness,
and on the left side i pin,
a daffodill,
head up,
eyes towards the sun,
just like me.................
