Dancing With My Shadow Poem by Craig Jones

Once again I asked the angels to free me from the prison that is my mind
Dancing with my shadow, the demons are all I find
Setting into motion every fear I've ever known
Dancing with my shadow, at least it's stop me being alone
Laid in darkness, sleep a million miles away
The sun starts to rise, signalling the start of another day
We won the battle, but we've still got the war
Tonight I'll dance with my shadow like every night before.
